Imagine Performing here......

From Cool Hunter:
In a country where the two largest cities compete for just about everything, is Melbourne set to de-thrown Sydney for a higher quality performance space? Granted we’re not here to critique Utzon’s Opera House, but we are prepared to say that ARM, in collaboration with Arup Acoustics, designed a dynamic and original 1000-seat performance space and 150-seat Salon. “The fusion of architectural and acoustic design throughout the development of Elisabeth Murdoch Hall has produced a visually and aurally exciting hall,” a designer from Arup explains. “Based on the proportions of the classic shoe-box shaped European concert hall, the geometry has been enhanced to provide greater acoustic intimacy and improved sightlines for the entire audience.”

Dope.

Why I love Entourage.....

Scenes like this one.

Holding Back.......

Holding back....

Your eyes say hi before your lips do
Gaze speaks volumes.
All one has to do is listen.
Too realize what's been hidden there.
But then the world is full of the hearing impaired.
To busy to care, or wonder what's beneath it all.
Concerned with only the surface.
Worried about only what is thrown in front of their face
Whether it be ass or titties.
The shadow of a beautiful face.
No matter if its real or fake
They take it.
While I, although impatient
look deeper if I feel its worth it.
I need more than the finished piece that's presented.
I need the fabric, the inspiration behind your creation.
Or... maybe you don't wanna delve that deep.
If you'd rather focus on the now I'm all for it.
but don't hold back.
Not for a moment.
If we only have today I want all of you.
I'd apologize but I'm selfish like that.
It seems the finer things don't do it like they use to.
I need them you to be more than what meets the eye.
An angel in disguise.
So that I won't be scared to invite you in.
To where visitors are few and far between.
Trust me, the view from here is amazing.
Constantly aiming.
For more than the day before.
But we'll get their eventually,
Unless you just are what you are, and their nothing else there.
Then who cares?
We can just sweat on a bed full of sex and ill call you tomorrow.
Maybe.
Or you can be more.
You could be life changing. Perspective altering, flawed perfection
And we can break sweats on a bed full of sex and ill call you tomorrow.
Baby.
I don't ask for much, at least I don't think I do.
Just a bottle of whatever we felt like having.
A little green, a little passion.
To live now and never try to go back.
And you, although I'm sure you wouldn't know that.
Because I can't tell you.
Until you stop trying to hold back

Kid Cudi ft Kanye West & Common "Make her Say"

This vid >"Best I ever had" no offense to Drizzy but this vid is perfect for the song that comes with it.

Sweet Dreams are made of this.....

Eurthymics "Sweet Dreams"

I've been hearing this song in my head now for a few weeks. It's classic 80's from the synths to the music video, both of which would be just as huge now. I have this idea that I have in the back of my head when I hear this song. Let's see if I can make it reality...

22.....

Lily Allen "22"

AD Brilliance...

From Cool Hunter:

Nikon took its cue from our celebrity-obsessed paparazzi culture to launch the brand's D700 model in Korea.

At a busy Seoul subway station, Nikon mounted a huge interactive, light-box billboard displaying life-like images of paparazzi. Huddled together as if at a premiere, the "paps" appear to be jostling and competing for the best celebrity snap. The celebrities in this case were the passersby, who automatically triggered a deluge of flashing camera lights as they walked past the billboard. The accidental superstars then followed the red carpet all the way out of the station and into a mall - directly into the store where they could purchase the new D700. Mission accomplished. - Lisa Evans

Overload.....

So I had a party at my place this weekend, we were celebrating a feww bdays in one. The homies Pe$o much and D2G turned 22 and we got it in. I'm usually a pretty calm person, to the point that people are surprised that it is I rapping all of these energy filled songs. That's where all my energy goes, into my music. All the energy I bottle up through these various experiences in my life come through into my music, so you can FEEL what I was feeling at the moment. I was talking to this girl, and she told me that lately its just felt like a overload of 'JDP' related material. Lol, I'm not surprised she would say that because as of late it has been a load of material coming from my way. -Air Raid- dropped 2 weeks ago and it seems like every other day another person is picking it up and discovering it, listening to it, enjoying it. I feel great everytime ONE person tells me they enjoyed a song. Everytime I wake up, I have no idea what news I'm going to encounter and more often than not, its good. My thing is I want to share my experiences with you guys, all my people who are watching me and Flyy city go at this thing from the ground up. We have a long ways to go before we end up on the other side of that door, we just got the key made, dig.

My favorite review for -Air Raid-......

The review comes from a site called "First Up!" I'm happy about every site that has picked up the project so far, but their description of the music hit home, so of course I had to post it. I may post the rest later on..

From First Up:

Up and coming Chicago rapper JDP doesn't have that typical Chi-town-sound at all, instead he tries to blend pop melodies and dope lyrics over large beats to give every song its own feel with an agenda to be a new voice in hip hop. That gave him a well earned spot in URB's Next 100 artist-issue of 2009.

JDP's latest mixtape "Air Raid", a culmination of 2 years of work, trying to make sure everything sounded perfect, just dropped in collaboration with FLYY CITY & IM KING clothing and has many nyce tracks to it and features appearances by Terry Kennedy, Adam Tensta, Mike 100s, Flow Eazy, YP and many more.

Heads will roll....

Yeah Yeah Yeahs "Heads will roll"

The future is.....

The future is pretty bright, so much so that I gotta wear shades...

Lol, ok. Seriously, thank you to everybody who's downloaded -Air Raid- so far, or considered downloading it, or downloaded one song. I appreciate it. It's not easy out here these days to call yourself an artist and follow that road. Theirs literally a million young minds all circling the same goal and only a few of us are going to make it. I plan to be right there, hand on the ring. As I said on successful, "I feel like fate gave me a purpose and I'm nowhere near perfect, but I work so damn hard I swear to god that I'm worth it." I'm grinding to make sure that when you hear my name you'll be able to count on it. I hope that all of you who have listened to "Air Raid" dug it, I hope I managed to take you all on this journey, because I know its gonna be a long one. But I'm so ready for it. Good things have been knocking on my door with bullshit tied to its tail, but lucky me, I keep a pair of scissors for all that. So far the feedback for -Air Raid- has been great, so I'm glad I didn't dissapoint you all. I want to share the project with as many people as I possibly can, so that, when its time to continue this journey with purple, the world will be ready. Grand ambitions require hard work. and I works hard. Let's go.

Best I ever had...

Drake "Best I Ever Had" from kwest on Vimeo.

Drake "Best I ever had" Directed by Kanye West

I've heard plenty of negative about this vid. I dig what they were going for, I heard Drake give his explanation of the concept to MTV. But it just isn't captured in the video, it just doesn't match the depth of song, and it feels like Ye's first video. I personally, like the video, maybe it has something to do with the D's throughout or the comedy. It's not the greatest video, and it misses the point of the song terribly, but. lol, I'm entertained.....
