I'm feeling good. Back from a nice break which included a few parties, and a few shows. We did the damn thing at republic this weekend(shoutout to Flex!) 20 in the 21+. Its cool though, my birthday is a month away, may is gonna be crazy. I got a few shows coming up, I plan on shutting those down, (WE GOT FLO-RIDA TICKETS!!!) I've been recording alot of new material lately and the stuff is sick. I'm excited to share it with you guys but you still gotta wait a little longer. I have a interview up in Urbansteez that asks some new questions I haven't heard. I took this picture while I was helping my grandmother put her art show together, she does like sculpture and digital photo art. Its dope stuff, I saw one of these figures outside the building and thought is looked sick. We're getting ready to do some pretty amazing stuff, I'm just excited about the future.

So, we get to this gas station in the middle of nowhere, we're leaving from Flow's crib in missouri(shout out to mama flow, thanx for having us) with no CD of good music on it. A Maryland songwriter-producer is suing Kanye West claiming that the hip-hop star used his tune, "Volume of Good Life," for the chart-topping single, "Good Life," without permission or giving credit.

In the lawsuit filed in Maryland District Court, Dayna Staggs (aka D'Mystro) names West and his label Roc-A-Fella Records for copyright infringement, claiming the artist didn't obtain a license to use his song, according toTMZ.

D'Mystro said he's also offended that Kanye's rendition of the record "contains vulgar and offensive" images and "harms the reputation" of his much cleaner original, which he claims was written when West was only six or seven years old.

He's asking for 85% of all world sales from the music.

That's life though, sometimes you floating along fine feeling brand new, next second your looking for a lifeboat wondering how the hell your got there in the first place. Its what you do during these moments that show who you are. I've had times I felt lower then low and times that I felt higher then high(this blunt has nothing to do with it. lol) But surviving those low moments help me enjoy the high ones. Like right then, we we're in this flyy ass pad with a full view of the city just chilling before the party started. Traxxion came through with some jalepenio poppers, and me and Flow and Srowe proceeded to meet some interesting people over a bowl. Green brings people together mayne. lol. Personal goal, (cop a similar spot before 25) lets see if I can pull it off. Hopefully the icebergs aren't too big.....ok.....no more titanic metaphors. High Life.

First of all, yea the picture is terrible, but I feel like the "realisim" in the quality of my photos makes it all the more actual. Lmao. Actually this is the best shot I could get of Flow and JV killing it on stage. The concert was put together at the dusable museum to showcase some of chicago's best. Problem was, location, transportation, promotion, ect.... It was straight though, still did the thing and obviously Flow shut it down. The lights looked so raw while she was performing. During the last nine months, I have closely observed the presidential campaigns, analyzed the issues and platforms of the major candidates, and have had substantive discussions with Senator Clinton and Senator Obama. So I'm stuck in night traffic in a cab and I'm feeling like the driver is going slow on purpose. I'm in a rush trying to make it to a party. I get there, chill. Good night. Day 2, I have a party in 5 hours high as hell with no worries and its 50 something degrees outside.(If you live in the chi, you already know what it is) I just keep looking forward as I find life looks better facing this direction. Surrounded by fam celebrating another day alive and knowing we made it through another winter. We're free in the door, under 21 with a shot, Flow talking bout kush while we waiting on a wackass soundcheck @ a dope ass spot. Fresh cut, ladies all day and night, clean clothes and knowing your week may be 5x better then the last.. Is this season 6?
