Seeing Sounds........
Joni Mitchell's "Blue" album. You knew what the music sounded like before you put the album on. The title alone dictated the feeling and the tone of music. One word to describe the mood and it fit perfectly. The album is one of her bests and considered one of the best albums of all time. I created the music on -Purple- to catch all the tones and moods that the color brought to mind because that's where I was when I started working on the project. I wanted to create something incredible and I'm hoping I accomplished that. Can't wait for you guys to hear it. Seeing Sounds.....

Of Peace & Pursuits........
Growth. Probably one of the most important words for someone looking to progress. Looking to take things further. Of course, we claimed that as the mission from the moment we named the company Flyy. We've been working to take this thing as far as possible, and we're nowhere near close. We are however, alot farther along then where we started. I sat and listened to "Like a skateboard" the other day and as proud as I am of that song, I can't help but see how far I've come as an artist and how far we've come as a team. Or how far we've come as a culture, ready for something new, or to BE something new. Like someone placed some lego pieces in front of us and said "build the future." We're beginning something, in our pursuit for St.Elsewhere. No limits, word to master p, lol. It's this belief that allows us to try, to travel, to push because we feel we can. -High Times- is finished, I just need to put the songs in order and I have a surprise for my 4:20 family. I'm definitely looking forward to sharing this project along with you guys. I won't talk about Purple now because I feel like you'll hear about it soon enough, but trust me that project is alive and well. Just know I'm proud of what me and my team are doing. For now, -High Times- caused some inspirement and I wrote like 8 new songs in 2 days. I think I'm going to put them out as another mixtape before the summer is over. I'm just working, new ideas, new plans, and new places. This year is shaping up to be incredible, Lights Out video in the works as well as storyboards for 4 others. The Smoking Section is incredible and only getting better with every show. This family of ours is growing, this movement is building. We got this. Shades on. The future looks good.......
Baby Blue.......

From Cool Hunter:
This little blue boat may be beyond our budget but some powerboat collectors will take advantage of the opportunity to bid on RAL5105 on July 20, when it will be auctioned off at Hôtel Hermitage in Monte-Carlo by the Parisian Artcurial.
RAL5105 is estimated to fetch 180 000 - 220 000 Euros. The “monochrome nautical sculpture” is the latest masterpiece of Parisian multidisciplinary artist Xavier Veilhan (born in 1963) whose work we’ve featured before. John Dodelande invited Veilhan to think about creating a boat, and after accepting, Veilhan worked with the 80-year-old Frauscher shipyard of Gmuden, Austria, to make it a reality.

Don't look back........

I dig Dylan. In his 60's heyday no one was really lyrically making the music he was. He considered himself to be more poet than rock star in a time when the line wasn't as wide. He transformed the way people wrote music and looked at pop and rock by bringing meaning to it. A sincerity that isn't really around anymore. I want to try and catch that emotion, and try to have that same effect one day. I'm not afraid to make "Pop" music or "Rap" music as long as the feelings real and my words are there. The documentary was dope, just to see him do his thing his prime. One of my favorite artists.
Sidenote: There's a scene where he's writing a new song, on a typewriter. Only because laptops weren't invented yet.
